Fei Feng Mountain Trail Introduction
Fei Feng Mountain, with an elevation of 435.5 meters, is the highest peak of Jioujiu Mountain. It is named for its shape, which resembles a phoenix extending its neck and preparing to descend. The mountain is abundant with white plums, azaleas, and royal poinciana flowers, and its appearance changes with the seasons. Notable attractions in the area include Yun Gu Temple, Dai Quan Hall, Ganying Bridge, New Phoenix Pond, and Lotus Pond. Walking along the shaded trails, one can enjoy the gentle breeze and escape the summer heat. The royal poinciana trees on Fei Feng Mountain bloom in vibrant red during summer, while plum blossoms cover the landscape in pure white during winter. Fei Feng Mountain has historically been recognized as one of the eight scenic spots of Bamboo County. The back mountain features trails established by the county government for hiking, leisure, and scenic views.
