Shiye Pavilion Introduction
Shiye Pavilion is located in Guanshi Township and enshrines two stones, which have been present for over a hundred years. The larger and smaller stones are referred to by the local residents as "Shiye" and "Shipo," respectively, and are regarded as the guardians of local peace. Many locals consider Shiye as their "godfather" in hopes of growing up safely. Every year on the 8th day of the 4th lunar month, it is Shiye's birthday, and his godsons return to the Shiye Pavilion to pay their respects. Next to the pavilion, there is a couplet that states no extravagant offerings are needed, only sincerity, which has become a distinctive feature of this place.
