Luliao Mountain Trail Introduction
The Lu Liao Keng Rest Area's Tung Blossom Trail begins at the three-hundred-year-old Guava Tree Sacred Wood and follows the Tung Blossom Tunnel → Tung Blossom Tunnel II → Firefly Viewing Area → Wetland Farm → Shiye and Shiniang Stones → Tung Blossom Trail II → General Zou Hong's Ancestral Home → Tung Blossom Trail → Zhongwu Dormitory, forming a systematic Tung Blossom Trail. Among these, the Wetland Farm Trail is the most distinctive. This trail is located at the summit of Danzuiwo, rich in water sources and unaffected by human development, preserving a diverse ecosystem. In the wetland, one can find pond snails, mudfish, and wild ducks foraging in formation. The variety of bird species is abundant; while walking through the forest, you can often hear the harmonious calls of Blue Magpies and Fire-crowned Flowerpeckers, with the Crested Serpent Eagle soaring overhead, reminding you to bring binoculars for a closer look at the birds during your visit to the Wetland Farm. Additionally, the Wetland Farm is the perfect choice during the firefly season on summer nights.
