New Taipei City Wheelchair Dream Park Introduction
Wheelchair Dream Park in New Taipei City was inaugurated in 2020 within the Banqiao Sports Complex. It is the second Wheelchair Dream Park in the country, following the Kaohsiung Qiaotou Zhulin Tennis Center. Covering an area of 14 hectares, it is the largest and most well-equipped sports park for people with disabilities in Taiwan. With the efforts of the Wheelchair Dream Park Promotion Alliance and support from various sectors, multiple sports equipment and facilities specifically designed for people with disabilities have been introduced, creating a safe and friendly sports environment and promoting equal access to sports.
