Banchao Sports Center Introduction
Banshuei Sports Center was completed in 2001 and is located at the intersection of Banqiao and Shulin. The entire area covers 1.72 hectares, and the main venue is divided into three main areas: the first floor, the second floor, and the basement level. The center features comprehensive facilities for badminton, tennis, basketball, table tennis classrooms, rhythmic gymnastics classrooms, taekwondo classrooms, and martial arts classrooms, as well as various sports training courses. Additionally, there are meeting rooms, changing rooms, and showers available for students to use, providing a space for the public to engage in sports and various indoor athletic competitions. Banshuei Sports Center also features New Taipei City's first dedicated gym for individuals with disabilities, equipped with wheelchair-accessible hydraulic equipment and several professional trainers. The parking area has been designed for easy access, and shuttle bus services are provided to enhance the exercise experience for people with disabilities. Furthermore, specially planned hand-powered vehicle rental stations and hand-pedal bicycle lanes allow individuals in wheelchairs to enjoy outdoor activities, realizing the concept of sports equity.
