Bajiao Scenic Area Introduction
Driving along the long Taiwan Highway 11, the Bazai Lookout can be considered the most beautiful "turning point" on this road. As you drive from Hualien City and navigate through the hairpin bends, the scenery shifts from the lush green mountains on both sides to the vast Pacific Ocean, with the Coastal Mountain Range standing majestically. Entering this lookout and gazing eastward, the deep blue waters of the Pacific are enough to make one forget the hardships of the journey, and looking south, you can overlook the southern peak of Dashibi Mountain at the entrance of Isolated Bay.
