Mazu Stone Carving Introduction
The tallest statue of Mazu in Southeast Asia stands at approximately 26.66 meters high and is made up of 299 pieces of granite and 161 pieces of quartzite. It is located on the New Life Land by the Houlungdong River next to the Wulong Temple. This statue can rival the Mazu statue completed in Macau in 1998, which is known as the tallest Mazu statue in the world. It not only attracts many tourists but also serves as a center of faith for local worshippers.
