Mazu Stone Carving Introduction
The tallest Mazu statue in Southeast Asia, this stone sculpture stands approximately 26.66 meters tall and is constructed from 299 pieces of granite and 161 pieces of limestone. It is located on the New Life Ground by the Hsiung-Long River beside the Wulong Temple. It rivals the Mazu statue erected in Macau in 1998, known as the tallest in the world. Not only does it attract many tourists, but it also serves as a center of faith for local believers.
