Mazu Stone Carving Introduction
The tallest statue of the goddess Mazu in Southeast Asia, this stone sculpture stands approximately 26.66 meters high and is constructed from 299 pieces of granite and 161 pieces of marble. It is located on the new land beside the Dongshi River at Wulong Temple and can be compared to the statue of Mazu completed in 1998 in Macau, which is known as the tallest Mazu stone statue in the world. It not only attracts many visitors but also serves as a center of faith for local believers.
