Mazu Stone Sculpture Introduction

The tallest statue of Mazu in Southeast Asia stands approximately 26.66 meters tall and is constructed from 299 pieces of granite and 161 pieces of clear stones. It is located on the new land by the Houshui River at Wulong Temple. This statue can be compared to the world's tallest Mazu statue, completed in 1998 in Macau. It not only attracts many visitors but also serves as a faith center for local believers.

Transportation Methods:Take the HSR train to Houlong Station, then transfer to Hsinchu, Miaoli, or Shalu bus towards Tongxiao and get off at Xihu Station. Walk about 5 minutes to the Xihu Township Office.
