Liou Clan Ancestral Hall of Pengcheng Introduction
Located in front of Ruihu Elementary School in Sihucun, it venerates the founding ancestor En-Kuan Gong, as well as the deities of his lineage, and is also dedicated to Guanyin and the God of Wealth. The Liu Clan Ancestral Hall was first established in the 25th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1760), making it 235 years old. The ancestral hall covers a vast area, with the Xihu River alluvial plain in the front and lush green hills in the back, presenting a grand atmosphere. The hall is built in a Sanheyuan (a traditional three-section courtyard) style, covered with green glazed tiles and featuring a swallow-tail roof ridge. Although it lacks ornate carvings, it reflects the simple and elegant style of the Hakka people.
