Liu Clan Ancestral Hall of Pengcheng Introduction
Located in front of Ruihu Elementary School in Sihu Village, this ancestral hall primarily enshrines the founding ancestor Enkuan Gong and the deities of the clan. It is also dedicated to Guanyin and the Earth God. The Liu Clan Ancestral Hall was initially built in the 25th year of the Qianlong reign (1760), making it 235 years old. The hall occupies a vast area, with the Xihu River alluvial plain in front and rolling green hills behind, creating a grand atmosphere. The building is designed in a Sanheyuan style, covered with green glazed tiles and features a swallowtail ridge. Although it lacks intricate carvings and decorations, the simplicity and elegance reflect the Hakka people's tranquil and harmonious style.
