Maple Giant Tree Group Park Introduction

The Bald Cypress Giant Tree Cluster is located in the Fengxiang community of Wugongli, Puli Township, and is estimated to be over 400 years old. The community has established a small park here, allowing local residents to gather and chat. The Bald Cypress is a deciduous tree and is endemic to Taiwan. Originally, there were twenty-two giant trees in the cluster, each reaching a height of over three stories. In recent years, a few of the giants have died, making the remaining trees even more precious and highlighting the importance of local conservation. The county government has listed them for protection; there are currently only 13 of the original 22 trees left and they should be treasured.
