Maple Giant Trees Group Park Introduction
The Sweetgum Giant Tree Group is located in the Fengxiang Community of Wugongli, Puli Township, and is estimated to be over four hundred years old. A small park has been established in the community for local residents to gather and chat. The Sweetgum tree is a deciduous tree and is native to Taiwan. Originally, there were twenty-two giant trees in the Sweetgum Community, each over three stories high. In recent years, several of these giant trees have died, making the remaining ones even more precious and highlighting the importance of local conservation efforts. The county government has designated them for protection, with only 13 of the original 22 remaining, which should be cherished even more.
