Maple Giant Tree Group Park Introduction

The Fongxiang Giant Tree Cluster is located in the Fongxiang Community of Wugongli, Puli Township. It is estimated to be over 400 years old. A small park has been established in the community for local residents to gather and chat. The Fongxiang tree is a deciduous large tree and is native to Taiwan. Originally, there were twenty-two giant trees in the Fongxiang Community, each standing over three stories high. In recent years, several of these giant trees have died, making the remaining ones even more precious and raising awareness for local conservation. The county government has designated them for protection; there were originally 22 trees, and now only 13 remain, which should be cherished even more.
