Maple Giant Tree Group Park Introduction
The Giant Sweet Gum Tree Group is located in the Fengxiang community of Wu Gong Li in Puli Township, and it is estimated to be over four hundred years old. A small park has been established in the community, allowing local residents to gather and chat. The Sweet Gum tree is a deciduous large tree and is native to Taiwan. Originally, there were twenty-two giant trees in the community, each standing over three stories tall. In recent years, several of these giant trees have died, making the remaining trees even more precious and raising awareness for local conservation. The county government has designated them as protected, with only 13 remaining out of the original 22, which should be cherished even more.
