Maple Giant Tree Group Park Introduction
The Maple Giant Tree Cluster is located in the Fengxiang Community of Wugongli, Puli Township, and is estimated to be over 400 years old. The community has established a small park here to allow local residents to gather and chat. The maple tree is a deciduous towering tree and is indigenous to Taiwan. Originally, the giant tree cluster in the Fengxiang Community consisted of 22 trees, each standing over three stories tall. In recent years, several giant trees have died, making the remaining giants even more precious and raising awareness for local conservation efforts. The county government has designated them for protection; there are currently only 13 remaining trees, which should be cherished even more.
