Maple Giant Trees Group Park Introduction

The Fongxiang Giant Tree Group is located in the Fongxiang community of Wugongli, Puli Township. It is estimated to be over four hundred years old. The community has established a small park here for local residents to gather and chat. The Fongxiang tree is a deciduous large tree and is indigenous to Taiwan. Originally, there were twenty-two giant trees in the community, each over three stories high. In recent years, a few of these giant trees have died, making the remaining trees even more precious and increasing the local emphasis on conservation. The county government has listed them for protection, and currently, only thirteen of the original twenty-two trees remain, which should be cherished.
