Shanfu Fishing Harbor Introduction
To get to the Shanfu Fishing Port, look for the large stone lion at the Fu'an Temple. From the small path beside the temple, you can slide down to the port. Shanfu Fishing Port is actually a great place! Apart from being a harbor, there is a nice little beach on the left for playing in the water, and on the right, beyond the breakwater, is a long intertidal zone. Walking along the coast leads you to the Shanfu Eco-Trail, which ends at the Shanfu Fort, making it a rich attraction. Here, you can first stroll along the Shanfu Eco-Trail to learn about some of the flora and fauna of Xiao Liu Qiu. After reaching the Shanfu Fort, you can observe some of the early structures and designs inside the fort, and enjoy the scenery from the wide platform with a 180-degree view. After exploring, walking back to Shanfu Fishing Port should work up quite a sweat, so head to the beach to cool off in the sea. Finally, as the sky darkens, take a walk up the breakwater and countdown as the sun sets into the sea. This way, you can leisurely spend an afternoon without the need to ride around!
