Shanfu Fishing Port Introduction
To reach Suanfu Fishing Port, look for the large stone lion at Fu'an Temple; the path beside the temple leads you down to it. Suanfu Fishing Port is actually a very nice place! In addition to being a harbor, there is a comfortable little beach on the left for swimming, and on the right, beyond the breakwater, is a long intertidal zone. Walking along the coast is the Suanfu Ecological Corridor, which leads to the Suanfu Fortress at its end, making it a rich attraction. Here, you can first stroll along the Suanfu Ecological Corridor to learn about some of the flora and fauna of Xiaoliuqiu. After reaching Suanfu Fortress, you can also take a look at some of the architecture and designs inside the fortress from earlier times, and enjoy the scenery from the wide platform with a 180-degree view. After touring, walk back to Suanfu Fishing Port; you might break a sweat, so head to the beach to cool off in the refreshing sea water. Finally, as the sky begins to darken, climb the breakwater and take a stroll while counting down the sunset as it sinks into the sea. This way, you can spend a leisurely afternoon without having to ride around!
