Shanzhugou Scenic Area Introduction
In Xiao Liuqiu, besides the charming seaside scenery, the view of Shanzhugou, which penetrates into the mountains, is truly exceptional. It allows visitors to fully enter the most famous coral reef karst topography of Xiao Liuqiu, surrounded by lush green plants. Sunlight spills down from the gaps in the coral reef above, passing through the leaves of the taro plant, which seem to glow with a green light, uplifting the spirit. Besides its enchanting scenery, Shanzhugou also has an interesting legend. It is said that a long time ago, a mountain pig spirit lived here. One day, he saw a celestial maiden bathing. The mountain pig spirit, smitten, stole the maiden's clothes and demanded that she stay with him in exchange for the return of her garments. The maiden verbally agreed, but took her clothes and immediately left, leaving the mountain pig spirit alone. Heartbroken, the mountain pig spirit cried and cried, and his tears eroded the coral rock, leaving behind channels formed by his tears, which is how Shanzhugou came to be today.
