Wild Boar Valley Scenic Area Introduction
In Xiao Liuqiu, besides the enchanting coastal scenery, the landscape of Shanzhugou, hidden in the mountains, is truly exceptional. Visitors can completely immerse themselves in the most famous coral reef karst topography of Xiao Liuqiu, surrounded by lush greenery. Sunlight streams down through the gaps in the coral reef overhead, illuminating the leaves of the taro plants, which seem to emit a green glow, creating a refreshing atmosphere. Besides the captivating scenery, Shanzhugou also has an interesting legend. Long ago, a wild boar spirit lived here and one day saw a celestial maiden bathing. Infatuated, the wild boar spirit stole the maiden's clothes and demanded that she stay with him in exchange for the clothes. The maiden verbally agreed, but took the clothes and quickly left, leaving the wild boar spirit in loneliness. Heartbroken, the wild boar spirit cried and cried, and his tears eroded the coral rock, leaving behind furrows known as "tear grooves," which ultimately formed today's Shanzhugou.
