Habalan Bay Scenic Area Introduction
Habitat Bay Scenic Area is located between Mountain Pig Valley and Wugui Cave, featuring a coastline that extends approximately 100 meters, making it the largest shell sand beach in Little Liuqiu. This is a rare landscape on the coral reef geological island of Little Liuqiu. Habitat Bay Beach, also known as Venice Beach, boasts clean sandy shores, crystal clear blue waters, and many charming aquatic creatures, making it an enticing spot for visitors. Not only can tourists enjoy the sea, but they can also appreciate stunning sunsets in the evening. Little Liuqiu is the only coral island in Taiwan. Due to tectonic movements, coral reefs that were originally submerged have gradually risen above sea level, resulting in well-developed limestone cave formations along the island's coastline and coral reef coastal landscapes. However, the beach landscape at Habitat Bay Scenic Area is relatively unique, as the shells along the coastline have been shaped by long-term wave action, creating uniformly fine, pure white shell sand. This results in a vast expanse of bright white beach, making Habitat Bay Beach particularly captivating. Under the sunlight, this shell sand beach glimmers beautifully. Walking on the romantic white sands, one can casually spot lovely shell grains, enjoying the sunbathing experience.
