Haban Bay Scenic Area Introduction
Hafan Bay Scenic Area is located between Shanzhigou and Wuguidong, with a coastline that stretches about 100 meters. It is the largest shell sand beach in Little Liuqiu, making it a rare landscape on this coral reef island. Hafan Bay Beach, also known as Venice Beach, features clean sands and crystal-clear blue waters, along with many cute marine creatures. The beautiful scenery is captivating, and visitors can not only enjoy the sea but also watch stunning sunsets in the evening. Little Liuqiu is Taiwan's only coral island. Due to tectonic movements, the coral reefs that were originally underwater have gradually been uplifted above sea level, leading to well-developed limestone cave landscapes and coral reef coastal terrains along the island's coast. However, the beach landscape of Hafan Bay is particularly unique because the shells along its shores have been eroded by seawater over time, resulting in uniform and pristine white shell sand. This creates a vast expanse of bright white beach, which is the most captivating feature of Hafan Bay. Under the sunlight, this shell sand beach sparkles brilliantly. Walking along the romantic white sand, one can casually look down and discover beautiful shell particles, enjoying a sunbath. When the waves come in, a momentary coolness washes over, providing a refreshing break from the heat.
