Haban Bay Scenic Area Introduction
Haban Bay Scenic Area is located between Shanzhugou and Wugui Cave, with a coastline stretching approximately 100 meters. It is the largest shell sand beach in Xiaoliuqiu, making it a rare sight on this coral reef island. Haban Bay Beach, also known as Venice Beach, features clean sandy shores, crystal-clear blue waters, and a variety of lovely marine life, creating a picturesque landscape that draws visitors. Here, tourists can not only enjoy swimming but also admire beautiful sunsets in the evening. Xiaoliuqiu is the only coral island in Taiwan. Due to orogenic activities, the coral reefs that were originally located on the seabed have gradually been pushed to the surface. As a result, the limestone cave landscape and coral reef coastline along the island's shores are quite developed. However, the beach landscape of Haban Bay is particularly special. The shells along the bay’s edge have been polished by the sea water over time, resulting in uniformly white, shimmering shell sand. This creates a large expanse of bright white beach, which is one of the most captivating sights at Haban Bay Beach. Under the sunlight, this shell sand beach sparkles brilliantly. Walking on the romantic white beach, one can casually look down to discover beautiful shell grains accompanying you in enjoying the sunny day. As the waves come in, they bring a momentary coolness, slightly easing the intense summer heat. At Haban Bay Beach, there's no need to consciously do anything to feel leisurely; being amidst nature and experiencing the natural ease of life is always a given.
