Kaiyuan Harbor Introduction

Kaiyuan Harbor is the only port for entry and exit in Lanyu, where passenger ferries, cargo ships, and fishing boats all come and go. To the north of Kaiyuan Harbor is the sea cape watched over by Red Head Rock, while to the west is an endless view of the sea and sky. Looking towards Coconuts Oil Village, you can see the famous Mantou Rock. The Coconuts Oil Village near Kaiyuan Harbor is the administrative center of Lanyu, where government agencies such as the township office, township representative assembly, police station, fishing association, and agricultural association are concentrated. The population here is relatively large, and the urban landscape is more organized.
