Kaohsiung Harbor Introduction
Kaiyuan Harbor is the only port for entering and leaving Lanyu, where passenger ferries, cargo ships, and fishing boats all come and go. To the north of Kaiyuan Harbor is the cape watched over by Hongtou Rock, while to the west is an endless view of the sea and sky. Looking towards Yeyi Village, you can see the famous Mantou Rock. The nearby Yeyi Village is the administrative center of Lanyu, where government offices such as the township office, township representative council, police station, fishermen's association, and farmers' association are concentrated. It has a larger population and a more organized urban appearance. At the entrance of Kaiyuan Harbor, there is the only gas station in Lanyu.
