Cingjing Farm Introduction
The Green Grassland showcases different charms in each season. During spring, the fields are adorned with wild lilies and mountain daisies, creating a stunning sea of yellow and white flowers across the green expanse; between spring and summer, the grassland thrives with greenery, making it a great place to stroll and enjoy nature. In autumn and winter, the northeastern monsoon sweeps through, turning the grassland into a golden hue, presenting yet another picturesque scenery. Each season offers a unique experience. To reach this location, you should first pay attention to the small entrance and landmark sign located next to the ring road. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the entrance to the edge of the grassland. The beginning of the trail is lined with tall cogongrass, which gradually transitions to lower grass as you approach the end, revealing the vast expanse of the field. The spacious Green Grassland has little shade, so if you visit during the day, be sure to take precautions against sun exposure and stay hydrated! If you prefer to avoid the harsh midday sun, then the sunset and starry sky of the Green Grassland are perfect for you. The orange-red sunset paints the grassland a fiery hue, and the magical colors of the sky during this moment are unforgettable, reflecting the distant coast or Little Orchid Island, creating a scene reminiscent of a beautiful painting. The brilliant starry sky slowly appears after sunset, and in the low light pollution of Orchid Island, one can even see the Milky Way with the naked eye. If you plan to come during sunset, remember to bring a flashlight to avoid wandering in the dark. Additionally, be mindful of the island's famous inhabitants—the goats. These creatures can be seen all over the island, and they are certainly present in the Green Grassland. Most of the goats are quite shy and will move away if approached, so it's best not to tease them.
