Cingjing Farm Introduction
The Green Grassland offers different charms throughout the four seasons. In spring, the pasture is adorned with wild lilies and mountain daisies, creating a stunning landscape of green dotted with yellow and white flowers. Between spring and summer, the lush green pasture invites visitors to stroll and enjoy nature, making it a great viewing spot. In autumn and winter, the northeast monsoon transforms the grassland into a golden hue, presenting a different form of beauty, and each season offers a unique experience. To reach this location, pay attention to the small entrance and signposts located beside the Circumferential Highway. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the entrance to the end of the pasture. The path is initially lined with tall grasses, which gradually give way to shorter grass as you approach the end, revealing the expansive grassland. The broad Green Grassland has little shade, so if you visit during the day, be sure to take precautions against sun exposure and stay hydrated! If you prefer to avoid the scorching sun, the sunset and starlit sky at the grassland are perfect for you. The orange-red sunset casts a fiery glow over the pasture, creating an unforgettable moment with the magical colors of the sky reflecting on the distant cape or Little Orchid Island, resembling a magnificent painting. The brilliant starry sky gradually appears after sunset, and on Little Orchid Island, which has little light pollution, you can even see the Milky Way with the naked eye. If you plan to visit around sunset, remember to bring a flashlight to navigate back safely in the dark. Additionally, be aware of the famous resident animal on the island – the goats. They can be seen everywhere on the island and are no exception on the green grassland. These goats are generally shy and will move away if someone approaches; it's best not to disturb them.
