Luye Longtian Cycling Path Introduction
The Longtian Bicycle Path is approximately 7.2 kilometers long, with many nearby attractions to enjoy, such as the famous Green Tunnel of Ficus microcarpa, which extends for a comfortable and cool kilometer. The shaded trees combined with the sounds of insects and birds create a refreshing atmosphere. If you follow a local bicycle shop's guide here, they will allow visitors to lie down on the bike path to experience the most comfortable environment in Luye, which is a very different experience compared to other bicycle paths! Since Longtian Village was an immigrant village in the past, you can see some traditional Japanese architecture, which is a well-known spot for tourists to take endless photos. Additionally, there is the residence of Master Cheng Yen – Kunzi Temple, and when passing by the tea improvement station, you can also see the rare scene of tea picking, both of which are unique local attractions. Longtian is also known as the "Hometown of Butterflies," and looking up at the road signs, you will see butterfly shapes. If the season is right, you might even see butterflies fluttering by. The scenery along the way is so beautiful it looks like a painting, making it hard to leave. If you want to ride a bit further, you can challenge yourself on the Luye Plateau or head towards the Luming Suspension Bridge area, which is a great place for hot springs. Visiting Longtian can mean staying a bit longer, as the surrounding scenery will truly captivate you.
