Luye Longtian Bicycle Path Introduction
The Longtian Bicycle Path is approximately 7.2 kilometers long, with many attractions nearby, such as the famous Xioa Ye Lan Ren Green Tunnel. This one-kilometer long green tunnel offers a cool and refreshing environment, with shade from trees accompanied by the sounds of insects and birds, creating a serene atmosphere. If you follow a local bike shop tour guide, you’ll have the unique opportunity to lie down on the path and experience the comfortable surroundings of Dulan, which differs greatly from other bicycle paths! Due to Longtian’s history as an immigrant village, you can see some traditional Japanese architecture, which is a popular spot for tourists to capture the authentic Japanese vibe. Additionally, there’s the resting place of Master Cheng Yen – the Kunzi Temple. As you pass by the tea variety improvement station, you may also catch a rare glimpse of tea-picking scenery, which are all distinctive local attractions. Longtian is also known as the "Hometown of Butterflies," and you can see butterfly-shaped signs along the way. If you visit during the right season, you might even see butterflies fluttering around. The journey is picturesque, making it hard to leave. If you want to ride a bit further, you can take on the challenging Dulan High Platform, or ride towards the area of Luming Suspension Bridge, which is a great spot for soaking in hot springs. A visit to Longtian really allows you to linger, as the surrounding scenery is truly captivating.
