Luye Longtian Bicycle Path Introduction
The Longtian Bicycle Path is about 7.2 kilometers long, with many nearby attractions to enjoy. One of the highlights is the famous Green Tunnel of Pleased Tree (Bamboo) with its comfortable and cool one-kilometer stretch, shaded by trees accompanied by the sounds of insects and birds, offering a refreshing experience. If you follow a local bike shop's guide here, they will let visitors lie down on the pathway to fully appreciate the cozy environment of Duli. This experience is quite different from other bicycle paths! Since Longtian Village was an immigrant village in the past, you can see some traditional Japanese architecture, which is a popular spot for every tourist to take photos. There is also the resting place of Master Cheng Yen, the Kunzi Temple. Passing by the Tea Improvement Station, you might also catch a rare sight of tea picking, adding to the unique local attractions. Longtian is also known as the "Hometown of Butterflies," with road signs featuring butterfly designs. If you visit during the right season, you might even see butterflies fluttering about. The scenic beauty along the route is captivating and makes it hard to leave. If you wish to cycle further, you can tackle the challenging Duli Plateau or ride towards the Luming Suspension Bridge, which is a great spot for hot springs. You can really spend a long time in Longtian, as the surrounding scenery will certainly enchant you.
