Yongchang Village Introduction
Yong'an Village is listed among the top ten classic rural areas in the country, with well-planned and mature tourism experience packages. Through the planning of the Yong'an Community Development Association, visitors can not only explore Yong'an but also extend their travel routes to nearby Longtian and Gaotai. This entire area is currently considered a popular route in the Taitung Valley Line. The top recommendation here is the Yulong Spring Ecological Trail. Yulong Spring was originally a wild stream, featuring a spring that emerges from the cliff, with a constant water supply over the years. Local residents come here every Dragon Boat Festival to collect water, turning it into a local custom. Gaotai is another important attraction here, serving as both a tourist tea garden and a paragliding base. Every July and August, the Taitung County Government holds an International Hot Air Balloon Festival, making the sky even more lively. July is also the time when Yongchang Tribe holds its harvest festival. If you visit during July, in addition to enjoying Fulu tea, watching paragliders, riding hot air balloons, and cycling, don’t forget to participate in the harvest festival in the tribe to make your travel experience more diverse.
