Yongchang Village Introduction
Yongan Village is listed among the top ten classic rural areas in the country. It has a well-planned and mature tourism experience package that allows visitors to explore not only Yongan but also nearby Longtian and Gaotai through the planning of the Yongan Community Development Association. This entire area is currently one of the popular routes in the Taitung Valley Line. The first recommendation here is the Yulongquan Ecological Trail. Yulongquan was originally a wild stream, featuring a spring that emerges from a cliff. It has been a continuous water source for a long time, and local residents come here each year during the Dragon Boat Festival to retrieve water, which has become a local custom. Gaotai is another important attraction in the area, serving as a scenic tea plantation and a paragliding base. Every July and August, the Taitung County Government hosts the International Hot Air Balloon Festival, adding excitement to the sky.
