Yongchang Village Introduction
Yongan Village is listed as one of the top ten classic rural areas in the country, with a well-planned and mature travel experience package. Through the planning of the Yongan Community Development Association, not only can you explore Yongan, but you can also extend your travel route to the nearby Longtian and Gaotai. This entire area is currently one of the most popular routes in the Taitung Valley line. The recommended spot here is the Yulongquan Ecological Trail. Yulongquan is originally a wild stream, where there is a spring gushing from the cliff, and the water source has been continuous for a long time. Locals come here every year during the Dragon Boat Festival to fetch water, which has become a local custom. Gaotai is another important attraction here, serving as both a tourist tea plantation and a paragliding base. Every July and August, the Taitung County government organizes the International Hot Air Balloon Festival, adding more liveliness to the sky. July is also the time when the Yongchang Tribe holds its Harvest Festival.
