Yongchang Village Introduction
Yong'an Village is listed among the top ten classic rural areas in the country, with well-planned and mature tourism experience packages. Through the planning of the Yong'an Community Development Association, visitors can explore Yong'an and extend their travel routes to the nearby Longtian and Gaotai, which currently constitute a popular route in the Taitung Valley Line. The first recommendation here is the Yulong Spring Ecological Trail. Yulong Spring was originally a wild stream, featuring a spring that emerges from a cliff. The water source has been continuous for a long time, and local residents come here every year during the Dragon Boat Festival to fetch water, which has become a local custom. Gaotai is another important attraction here, serving as both a tourist tea plantation and a paragliding base. Every July and August, the Taitung County Government holds an international hot air balloon festival, adding vibrancy to the sky. July is also when the Yongchang Tribe holds its harvest festival. Visiting during July allows you to enjoy Fulu tea, watch paragliding, ride hot air balloons, and cycle. Don't forget to participate in the harvest festival in the tribe to make your trip even more diverse. [Source: Tribal Backpacker, Taitung Tribal Travel Guide]
