Yongchang Tribe Introduction
Yongan Village is listed as one of the top ten classic rural areas in the country, with well-planned and mature travel experience packages. By utilizing the planning of the Yongan Community Development Association, visitors can explore Yongan and extend their travel routes to neighboring Longtian and Gaotai. This entire area is currently considered a very popular route along the Taitung Valley line. The top recommendation here is the Yulongquan Ecological Trail. Yulongquan was originally a wild creek, featuring a spring that bubbles out from the cliff, with a continuous water source over the years. Locals have traditionally come here to fetch water during the Dragon Boat Festival, making it a local custom. Gaotai is another important attraction, serving as both a tourist tea plantation and a paragliding base. Every July and August, the Taitung County Government holds an International Hot Air Balloon Festival, making the sky more lively. July is also when the Yongchang Tribe holds its Harvest Festival.
