Zakura Trail Introduction
The Zuohe Trail is located on the eastern foothills of Shapokau Mountain. It was previously a mining road in the Taiwan Cement Jing Mountain mining area and was planned as the current trail by the Forest Bureau in 2003. The Zuohe Trail is approximately 3,950 meters long, with an elevation ranging from 70 to 495 meters. The trail mainly consists of concrete paths, gravel roads, and natural earth trails, taking about 90 minutes one way. This trail is near the western outskirts of Hualien City, making it suitable for family outings and hikes. Although the trail is only four kilometers long, the Forest Bureau has planned four observation decks, allowing visitors to appreciate the magnificent landscapes of Hualien from different heights and angles. The rich natural ecology along the way offers beautiful scenery, and whether watching the sunrise, admiring the night view, or gazing at countless stars, visitors will find it enchanting. No matter when one arrives here, there is always a unique charm to experience.
