Sakura Trail Introduction
Zakura Trail is located on the eastern foothills of Shabara Mountain. It was formerly a mining road in the Taiwan Cement Jing Mountain mining area and was planned as a trail by the Forestry Bureau in 2003. The trail is approximately 3,950 meters long, with an elevation ranging from 70 to 495 meters. The path includes cement roads, gravel paths, and dirt trails, taking about 90 minutes one way to complete. This trail is situated near the western suburbs of Hualien City, making it suitable for family excursions and hiking. Although the trail is only four kilometers long, the Forestry Bureau has designed four viewing platforms, allowing visitors to enjoy Hualien's magnificent scenery from different heights and angles. The trail is rich in natural ecological resources and beautiful scenery, making it an excellent spot for watching sunrises, city night views, and stargazing. No matter when you visit, the experience here is truly unique and unforgettable.
