Sakura Trail Introduction
The Zhaocun Trail is located on the eastern foothills of Shapozan Mountain. It was previously a mining road for the Taiwan Cement Jingshan mine area and was planned by the Forestry Bureau as the current trail in 2003. The Zhaocun Trail is approximately 3,950 meters long, with an elevation ranging from 70 to 495 meters. Along the way, there are paved roads, gravel paths, and dirt trails, taking about 90 minutes one way. This trail is close to the western suburbs of Hualien City, making it suitable for family outings and hiking. Although the trail is only four kilometers long, the Forestry Bureau has planned four viewing platforms allowing visitors to appreciate Hualien's magnificent scenery from different heights and angles. The natural ecological resources along the trail are rich, with beautiful scenery, making it an excellent spot for sunrise views, night scenery, and stargazing, leaving visitors captivated. No matter when you come here, it offers a unique experience.
