Tzu Chi Cultural Park (Jing Si Hall) Introduction
The Tzu Chi Cultural Park, located on Central Road in Hualien City, encompasses four main areas: Tzu Chi Medical Center, Jing Si Hall, Jing Si Bamboo Hut, and the Tzu Chi University campus. This site serves as the global hub for Tzu Chi's initiatives and embodies the four great missions of the Tzu Chi Foundation—medical care, charity, culture, and education. It continuously radiates the stable strength of Tzu Chi's spirit in Hualien, an oasis in eastern Taiwan. Tzu Chi is also actively involved in marrow donation, environmental protection, community volunteering, and international disaster relief, promoting these eight initiatives collectively known as "One Step, Eight Footprints," engaging in worldly endeavors with an otherworldly spirit to promote great love in the human realm. Standing within this expansive, elegantly designed, and lush green park, one can deeply sense the spirit of Tzu Chi, bringing together people from all walks of life, ethnicities, nationalities, and faiths to collaboratively create a pure land of true goodness and beauty in the world.
