Tzu Chi Cultural Park (Jing Si Abode) Introduction
The Tzu Chi Cultural Park, located on Zhongyang Road in Hualien City, includes the Tzu Chi Medical Center, Jing Si Hall, Jing Si Bamboo House, and Tzu Chi University campus. These four main areas serve as the global hub of Tzu Chi’s operations and embody the four major aspirations of the Tzu Chi Foundation— "medical care, charity, culture, and education." Continuously radiating the steady strength of Tzu Chi people in Hualien, a pure land in Eastern Taiwan, Tzu Chi is also actively engaged in activities such as bone marrow donation, environmental protection, community volunteering, and international disaster relief. These eight initiatives are promoted simultaneously and are referred to as "One Step Eight Footprints," engaging in worldly endeavors with an out-of-the-world spirit to promote great love among humanity. Standing in this vast, elegantly designed, and lush green park, one can deeply feel the spirit of Tzu Chi, which brings together people from all walks of life, ethnic groups, nationalities, and beliefs to jointly create a pure land of truth, goodness, and beauty in the world.
