Tzu Chi Cultural Park (Jing Si Hall) Introduction
The Tzu Chi Cultural Park, located on Central Road in Hualien City, encompasses four main areas: the Tzu Chi Medical Center, the Jing Si Hall, the Jing Si Bamboo Chamber, and the Tzu Chi University campus. This site serves as the central hub for Tzu Chi's global endeavors and embodies the four major missions of the Tzu Chi Foundation: "medical care, charity, culture, and education." It continuously radiates the steady strength of Tzu Chi's practitioners in the pure land of Hualien in Eastern Taiwan. Tzu Chi also engages in activities such as bone marrow donation, environmental protection, community volunteering, and international disaster relief. These eight initiatives, promoted simultaneously, are referred to as "One Step, Eight Footprints." They embody the spirit of transcending worldly concerns while actively engaging in worldly missions, promoting great love in the human realm. Standing in this spacious, elegantly laid-out, and lush green park, one can deeply feel the spirit of Tzu Chi, uniting people from all walks of life, various ethnic groups, different nationalities, and diverse beliefs to collectively create a pure land of true goodness and beauty in the human world.
