Nan'an Waterfall Introduction
From the Nanan Visitor Center, the road leads forward along the Laku-Laku Valley, with a smoothly rising asphalt path. Along the way, there are low-elevation broadleaf forests and planted trees. After walking about 2 kilometers, you can reach Nanan Waterfall. The waterfall is approximately 50 meters high, with lush green plants growing on the rocky wall. It is a hanging waterfall that collects water from the surrounding streams, providing a substantial flow. The waterfall rushes down the rock wall with great momentum, remains clear year-round, and the splashes of water bring "negative ions," known as "air vitamins," refreshing visitors. The water that cascades down the waterfall then flows into Laku-Laku Creek, which is the largest tributary of Xiugulun Creek. For general visitors, the entire journey from the Nanan Visitor Center to the entrance of the Wala-Mi Trail via Nanan Waterfall is along an asphalt road, allowing for easy driving alongside Laku-Laku Creek to enjoy the scenery, making it suitable for family outings.
