Nan'an Waterfall Introduction

Proceed straight from the Nan'an Visitor Center along the Laku Laku Valley, where the paved road gently ascends. Along the way, you will encounter low-elevation broadleaf forests and afforestation tree species. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach Nan'an Waterfall. The waterfall is approximately 50 meters high, with its rock face covered in lush green plants. As a cascade waterfall, it collects water from the surrounding mountain streams, resulting in plentiful water flow. The waterfall rushes down the rock wall, creating a magnificent sight, and remains clear all year round. The splashing water brings "negative ions," often referred to as "air vitamins," refreshing visitors. The water from the waterfall then flows into Laku Laku Creek, which is the largest tributary of Xiuguluan River. For general tourists, the journey from the Nan'an Visitor Center to the trailhead of the Walami Trail via Nan'an Waterfall is all on paved roads, making it easy to drive along the picturesque banks of Laku Laku Creek, suitable for family outings.
