Nan'an Waterfall Introduction
Starting from the South An Visitor Center, follow the road along the Lakulaku Valley, where a paved road gently ascends. Along the way, you will find low-altitude broadleaf forests and afforested tree species. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach South An Waterfall. The waterfall is approximately 50 meters high and is covered with lush green plants on its rocky walls. As it is a pluvial waterfall, it gathers water from surrounding mountain streams, making the water abundant. The waterfall rushes down the stone wall with great momentum, remaining clear throughout the year. The splashing water releases "negative ions," known as "air vitamins," refreshing the spirit. The water from the waterfall flows into the Lakulaku Stream, which is the largest tributary of Xiuguluan River. For general visitors, the entire route from the South An Visitor Center to the trailhead of the Walami Trail via South An Waterfall is paved, allowing for an easy scenic drive along the Lakulaku Stream, making it suitable for family outings.
