Luntian Recreation Area Introduction
The Luntian Recreation Area, located in Gufeng Village, Zhuoxi Township, Hualien County, was originally planned and developed by the Huatung Valley National Scenic Area Administration. It combines the border area of Hualien and Taitung Counties with nearby attractions such as Ruisui, Yuli, Fuli, and Chishang, creating a day-trip-friendly travel system. The recreation area covers approximately 1.3 hectares and is currently operated by an external company as the "Green Sea Skyline" resort. The park features various recreational facilities, including a Bunun stone house guesthouse, an outdoor performance theater, a dining center, and parking lot. The architectural designs of the service center and circular outdoor theater within the recreation area are rich in Bunun cultural elements, allowing visitors to experience various aspects of Bunun culture.
