Luntien Recreation Area Introduction
Luntian Recreation Area, located in Gufeng Village, Zhuoxi Township, Hualien County, was developed by the Huatung Valley National Scenic Area Administration. It combines the bordering areas of Hualien and Taitung Counties with nearby attractions such as Ruisui, Yuli, Fuli, and Chihshang, creating a one-day travel system. The recreation area covers approximately 1.3 hectares and is currently managed by a private operator, transformed into a refined "Green Ocean Skyline" resort. The park features accommodations in Bunun traditional stone houses, an outdoor performance theater, a dining center, and parking facilities. The appearance of the service center, circular outdoor theater, and other buildings in the recreation area is rich in Bunun ethnic style, allowing visitors to experience various aspects of Bunun culture.
