Luntian Recreational Area Introduction
Luntian Recreation Area, located in Gufeng Village, Zhuoxi Township, Hualien County, was originally planned and developed by the Huadong Valley National Scenic Area Administration. It combines the border area of Hualien and Taitung counties with several nearby attractions such as Ruisui, Yuli, Fuli, and Chihshang, creating a suitable day-trip travel system. The recreation area covers approximately 1.3 hectares and is now operated by an external management company, which has transformed it into the exquisite "Green Sea Skyline" Resort. The park features amenities such as a Bunun slate guesthouse, an open-air performance theater, a dining center, and a parking lot. The architecture of the service center and circular open-air theater within the recreation area is filled with the rich style of the Bunun tribe, allowing visitors to experience various aspects of Bunun culture.
