Located on the west coast of Mazu City Wall, this temple was built in the 35th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1696). It enshrines Guanyin Bodhisattva of the South Sea and was rebuilt to its current appearance in the second year of the Showa era (1927).

Main Deity: Guanyin Bodhisattva Festival Dates: Lunar April 8, Lunar June 19, Lunar September 19 Located on the western coast of the Mazu City wall, this temple was built in the 35th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1696). The temple enshrines the South Sea Guanyin Bodhisattva and was rebuilt in its current form in the second year of the Showa era (1927) during Japanese rule. In the 92nd year of the Republic of China (2003), it was reconstructed according to ancient methods, fully preserving this designated historical site. The plaque inside the temple is also known as a treasure of the Shixi Township temple and is of great value.
