Xiying Rainbow Bridge Introduction
The Xiying Rainbow Bridge is located in the Guanyinting Coastal Park in Magong City, Penghu County. The county government invested tens of millions to build it on the outer seawall of Guanyinting, completing the construction in 2004. It is the first steel arch bridge in the Penghu area, measuring 200 meters in length and 4.6 meters in width at its deck, with the highest point approximately 15 meters above sea level. The bridge is equipped with colorful lighting in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, which correspond to the atomic spectrum of a rainbow, and is named after the scenic beauty of Xiying. The Xiying Rainbow Bridge beautifully integrates with the surrounding scenery of Guanyinting, creating a romantic and pleasant atmosphere. At night, the colorful neon lights on the arch bridge become even more dazzling. It is a popular spot for locals and tourists to walk, exercise, and enjoy the scenery. Additionally, it is one of the locations for the Penghu Ocean Fireworks Festival in the summer, where the colors of the fireworks enhance the vibrancy of the night sky in Penghu, making it a landmark for the island's tourism image in recent years. 【Recommended stay time】 2 hours.
