Cihu Bridge Introduction
The Xiying Rainbow Bridge is located in the Guanyin Pavilion Seaside Park in Magong City, Penghu County. The county government invested tens of millions to build it on the breakwater off the Guanyin Pavilion, and it was completed in 2004. It is the first steel arch bridge in the Penghu area. The bridge is 200 meters long, 4.6 meters wide at its surface, and its highest point is about 15 meters above sea level. It is equipped with colorful lighting featuring red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, which reflects the atomic spectrum of a rainbow at night. The Guanyin Pavilion is known for its picturesque scenery, hence the bridge was named. The Xiying Rainbow Bridge combines beautifully with the surrounding scenery of the Guanyin Pavilion, creating a romantic and pleasant atmosphere. As night falls, the bridge is adorned with colorful neon lights, making it even more dazzling. The Xiying Rainbow Bridge is a popular place for locals and tourists to walk, exercise, and enjoy the scenery.
