Xiying Rainbow Bridge Introduction
The West Yih Rainbow Bridge is located in the Guanyin Pavilion Coastal Park in Magong City, Penghu County. Completed in 2004 at a cost of tens of millions, it is the first steel arch bridge in the Penghu area. The bridge is 200 meters long, with a clear width of 4.6 meters, and its highest point is approximately 15 meters above sea level. It features colorful lighting in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet that replicates the atomic spectrum of a rainbow at night. Due to the Guanyin Pavilion's reputation for its beautiful scenery, the arch bridge is named accordingly. The West Yih Rainbow Bridge, along with the surrounding beautiful scenery of the Guanyin Pavilion, creates a romantic and pleasant view. When night falls, the colorful neon lights on the arch bridge become even more dazzling. It is a popular spot for locals and tourists to exercise, take leisurely walks, and enjoy the scenery. This location is also one of the sites for the Penghu Ocean Fireworks Festival during the summer in recent years. Besides the colors of the neon lights, the contrast with the fireworks adds beauty to the night sky in Penghu, making it a landmark for the tourism image of Penghu in recent years. 【Recommended stay time】 2 hours
