Penghu Guanyin Pavilion Pet Park Introduction
Located in the Guanyin Pavilion Coastal Recreation Park, behind the sailing training center and near the Penghu Maritime and Fisheries Vocational College and the outer parking lot of the seawall, the location is very convenient for transportation. The county government has invested over 2 million TWD to create a special "Dog Paradise" area designed for pets. This pet park in the coastal area offers a wide view, allowing for distant glimpses of the cross-sea bridge and Xiyu Island, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment. It offers a proper exclusive space for pet dogs to exercise and play, as well as an additional opportunity for interaction with other dogs. The pet activity area covers 0.2 hectares and is divided into sections for large and small dogs to ensure safe activity ranges. Dogs under 9 kilograms are considered small dogs, while those above are classified as large dogs; it is recommended to enter the different zones according to weight. The activity area features facilities like tunnels and small hills, with safety fences in place to prevent pets from getting lost or wandering onto roadways, thus ensuring their safety. Pet owners can bring their own toys such as balls or frisbees to interact and bond with their dogs or sit on the stone benches nearby to enjoy the sea view with their pets.
