Penghu Guanyin Pavilion Pet Park Introduction
Located within the Guanyin Pavilion Coastal Recreation Park, behind the sailing training center, and near the Penghu Marine and Fishery Vocational School and the external parking lot, transportation is very convenient. The county government has invested over 2 million NTD to specifically plan a "Dog Park" area for pets. The pet park is located in the coastal area, providing a broad view where one can gaze at the cross-sea bridge and Xiyu Island, creating a comfortable and pleasant environment. This space offers pet dogs a proper area for exercise and play, as well as an additional place to interact with other dogs. The pet activity area covers 0.2 hectares and is designed to separate large and small dogs' activity spaces. Dogs weighing under 9 kg are considered small, while those over 9 kg are classified as large. It is recommended to enter different areas based on their weight. The activity area features facilities such as tunnels and small hills, with safety fences set up to prevent pets from getting lost or wandering onto roadways, which could cause dangers. Owners can bring their own balls or frisbees to interact with their dogs and develop their bond, or sit on the stone benches and enjoy the sea view with their dogs. The park also has three dog waste collection bins and provides waste bags, urging owners to remember to clean up after their dogs to keep the environment clean, as good facilities are maintained by everyone together.
