Located within Guanyin Pavilion Coastal Recreation Park, behind the sailing training center, and adjacent to the Penghu Maritime and Fisheries Vocational School and the parking lot outside the seawall, the location is very convenient. The county government has invested over 2 million TWD to plan a dedicated area for pets called the "Dog Park." The pet park is situated in the coastal area, offering a broad view where one can overlook the cross-sea bridge and Xiyu Island, providing a comfortable and pleasant environment. It serves as a proper space for pet dogs to exercise and play, as well as a place for interaction with other dogs. Covering an area of 0.2 hectares, the pet activity zone is designed to separate spaces for large and small dogs. Dogs weighing 9 kilograms and below are classified as small dogs, while those above are classified as large dogs, so it is recommended to enter different areas according to their weight. The activity area includes tunnels, small hills, and safety fences to prevent pets from getting lost or accidentally wandering onto roadways. Owners can bring their own balls or frisbees to interact with their dogs and strengthen their bond or sit on the stone benches and enjoy the sea view with their dogs.
