Chung Hua University Introduction
Founded in 1990, Chung Hua University was originally established as Chung Hua Institute of Technology by Lin Zhengze, Wang Rongchang, Cai Zhaozhang, and others. In 1997, it was renamed Chung Hua University and has deep connections with the nearby National Chiao Tung University, sharing similar faculty and academic development goals, earning it the nickname "Little Chiao Da." Located in a suburban area, the university is near Qingshui Lake and is surrounded by mountains, providing a simple and natural scenery. Chung Hua University covers an area of approximately 20 hectares, and many of the campus buildings were designed by faculty and students of the Department of Architecture, emphasizing scenic and ecological design. The campus was developed utilizing the unique topography to create an ecological landscape, featuring sights surrounded by ponds, water, and greenery. The modern, brightly colored buildings, along with scenic walkways, a landscape nursery, park squares, coffee and leisure restaurants, and barbecue areas, contribute to a naturally beautiful campus environment.
