Chung Hua University Introduction
Established in 1990, Chung Hua University originally began as Chung Hua Institute of Technology, founded by Lin Cheng-Tse, Wang Jung-Chang, and Tsai Chao-Chang. In 1997, it was transformed into Chung Hua University and has a deep-rooted connection with the nearby National Chiao Tung University, sharing similar faculty quality and academic development goals, thus earning the nickname "Little Chiao University." Located in a suburban area, the university is near Cingxih Lake and surrounded by mountains, offering a serene and natural landscape. Chung Hua University covers approximately 20 hectares, and many of the campus buildings were collaboratively designed by the faculty and students of the College of Architecture, emphasizing scenic and ecological design. Utilizing the natural topography, the campus is designed as an ecological landscape, featuring scenery surrounded by ponds, water, and lush trees, along with bright and modern architectural styles. It includes viewing paths, a landscape nursery, a park square, coffee leisure restaurants, and barbecue areas, creating a refreshing and naturally beautiful campus environment.
