Zheng Yongxi's Tomb Introduction

Zheng Yong-Xi's tomb was built in 1869 and is now a national monument. The cemetery covers a large area and features two rows of stone figures and stone beasts, as well as a pair of stone-carved writing pillars. The stone figures are fully dressed with flowing folds in their clothing, while the stone horse, stone sheep, and stone tiger are carved with a rustic yet delicate workmanship. The quality of the carvings is among the finest in ancient tombs throughout Taiwan, reflecting the grandeur of ancient official families.
