Yuanlinzi Community Introduction
Yuanlinzi, a Historical Preservation Area of Simple Nature - Yuanlinzi is a small settlement that emerged over a century ago on a rocky terrain, deeply rooted in the families of Ji and Huang. It is rich in natural resources, including century-old lychee trees and a century-old cold spring. In 2003, it was identified by the Wilderness Preservation Association as a paradise of diverse fauna and flora, as well as insects and butterflies, on the city’s outskirts. In recent years, with the guidance of the city government, the "Yuanlinzi Ecology and Art Development Association" has been established to actively engage in community building, ensuring the complete preservation of historical treasures such as century-old lychee trees, ancient wells, cold springs, and ancient tombs. Through various events, more people can understand and appreciate the beauty of Yuanlinzi. Historical Trivia: The name "Yuanlinzi" is derived from the circular shape of the terrain, commonly referred to as "circular basket," while the general name used today is "Yuanlinzi." Within the settlement, there are also place names such as Yuanlinzi, Huayaozi, Liujiaozai, and Mubupu.
