Yuanlin Community Introduction
Yuanlinzi is a historically preserved area with a simple natural environment. It was a small settlement formed by the Ji and Huang families over a hundred years ago on a hilly terrain. The area is rich in natural resources, featuring century-old lychee trees and cold springs. In 2003, the Wilderness Protection Association observed the diverse flora and fauna of this area, making it a hidden paradise on the edge of the city. In recent years, with the guidance of the city government, the "Yuanlinzi Eco-Art Development Association" was established to actively engage in community building. This has ensured the preservation of century-old lychee trees, ancient wells, cold springs, tombs, and other historic sites. Through various events, more people can learn about the beauty of Yuanlinzi. Historical Tidbit: The name "Yuanlinzi" is derived from the area's circular shape, which is why it is also referred to as "Yuanlan". Currently, it is generally called "Yuanlinzi", with place names in the settlement, including Yuanlinzi, Huaiyaozi, Liujiaozi, and Mubupu.
