The service center is located inside Banqiao Railway Station, a place with heavy foot traffic and convenient transportation. The center was renovated on May 6, 2010, to serve travelers with a brand new look. The Banqiao Metro Station Tourist Service Center, established for 6 years, was awarded one of the top three rankings in the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' 2009 assessment of national transportation station tourist service centers, demonstrating outstanding service quality. It offers consultation services in Mandarin and English for sightseeing and travel, information on tourist attractions, transportation and accommodation, itinerary planning, celebration events, guided tours, and online or phone inquiries. In 2008, media guide machines, electronic billboards, and a reading area were added to provide more professional, convenient, efficient, high-quality, and diverse services, allowing tourists to immediately obtain detailed information about traveling in New Taipei City.
