The center was renovated and completed on May 6, 2010, and has been serving travelers with a brand-new appearance. The Banqiao MRT Station Tourist Service Center, established six years ago, has been recognized as one of the top three tourist service centers in national transportation hubs by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications in 2009, demonstrating excellent service quality. It provides specialized consultation services in Chinese and English for tourism inquiries, introduces tourist attractions, offers transportation and accommodation information, itinerary planning services, event planning, guided tours, and internet or phone inquiries. In 2008, media guide devices, electronic billboards, and reading areas were added to provide more professional, convenient, efficient, high-quality, and diverse services, allowing visitors to access detailed information about tourism in New Taipei City instantly.
