New Taipei City Citizen Plaza Introduction
Citizens Square is located in front of the New Taipei City Government. This large and spacious square serves as a place for citizens to relax. The multifunctional activity area in the center of New Taipei City Citizens Square is surrounded by a stage to the south, a green bamboo shoot landmark to the north, gardens on both the east and west sides, and an aerial bridge. Various events organized by the city government are frequently held here, including the most popular "New Taipei City Christmas Land," which hosts a series of exciting activities, colorful Christmas lights, and rich events from November to December each year, attracting many citizens and becoming an annual event for families. Occasionally, classic sports games are also broadcasted on the large electronic display next to the stage. Citizens Square is situated in the center of the Xiban Special District, conveniently located near the city government building, shopping malls, and the underground street shopping area, as well as being a hub for the Banqiao Station that integrates three transportation systems, making the transportation very convenient.
