New Taipei City Civic Square Introduction
Citizen Square is located in front of the New Taipei City Government. This large and spacious square serves as a recreational area for residents, featuring a multifunctional activity plaza at its center, surrounded by a stage to the south, a green bamboo shoot landmark to the north, and gardens and sky bridges on the east and west sides. Various city government activities are often held here, including the most popular "New Taipei City Christmas Land," which takes place from November to December each year, featuring a series of exciting events, colorful Christmas lights, and rich activities that attract many citizens and make it an annual event for families. Sometimes, classic sports games are broadcasted on a large electronic screen next to the stage. Citizen Square is situated in the center of the Xinfeng Special Zone, conveniently located near the city government building, department stores, and underground shopping areas, and it is a hub area traversed by the Banqiao Station, which integrates three transportation systems, making transportation very convenient.
