Hsiang Shuei Cake was established in 1982 by Mr. Wang Chih-Te. Every step forward has been sincere, dedicated, and grounded. Continuously developing new flavors of cakes, the goal is to offer diverse tastes, unique textures, and value-for-money delightful desserts. By chance, he tasted taro grown by indigenous friends in Hualien, and its excellent texture left a deep impression on him, inspiring the idea of creating a taro cake. With perseverance and determination, he eventually researched the best ratio of moisture and sugar, allowing the cake to maintain its fresh original flavor. This is also the reason why the signature Taro Roll has been popular since 1985 and earned a great reputation. Hsiang Shuei Cake is committed to developing local tourism in Xizhi. Leveraging its long-standing brand strength and influence in the industry, it has also invested in the green energy sector. An 18kw solar power generation system has been installed on the roof of the establishment, combining Hsiang Shuei Cake’s taro production with this solar energy system, becoming a practical demonstration field to help more people understand and join the green energy industry, collectively protecting Taiwan's environment!
