Xiang Shuai Cake was founded in 1982 by Mr. Wang Zhi-De. Every step forward is sincere, attentive, and down-to-earth. Continuously developing new flavors of cake, we hope to bring diverse tastes, unique textures, and value-for-money delicious desserts to the public. By chance, he had the opportunity to taste taro grown by indigenous friends in Hualien, and the exceptional texture left a deep impression on him, inspiring the idea of making taro cake. With perseverance and determination, he finally discovered the optimal ratio of moisture to sugar, allowing the cake to retain its fresh flavor. This is also the reason why the signature Taro Mud Roll has been popular since 1985 and has won acclaim. Xiang Shuai Cake is committed to developing local tourism in Xizhi, leveraging its long-established brand strength and influence in the industry. At the same time, we are invested in the green energy industry. An 18kw solar photovoltaic power generation system has been installed on the roof of our facility, combining Xiang Shuai Cake's taro production with solar energy generation to create a practical demonstration site, allowing more people to learn about and join the green energy industry to protect Taiwan's environment together!
