Dazhuang Haotian Temple Introduction
The Dazhuang Haotian Temple covers an area of about 800 ping and features a majestic and solemn exterior, reflecting elegance and antiquity. Inside, it houses many calligraphy works by modern celebrities and literati, intricately carved into the stone walls. The current architecture of the Haotian Temple largely preserves the traditional structure of "lower stone and upper wood," with decorative arts predominantly employing techniques such as carving, masonry, modeling, and painting. The existing dragon columns, stone lions, and dragon-tiger boar in the San Chuan Hall not only feature exquisite materials but also exhibit remarkable craftsmanship. Due to its long history and unique architectural style, the temple has been featured in well-known recent films, such as "The Gang" and in a series of geographical magazine programs titled "Stories in Taiwan." The Haotian Temple holds large-scale events during important celebrations each year, including the Spring Festival, Farmers' Day, Ghost Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival, inviting the public to join in the festivities.
