Dazhuang Haotian Temple Introduction
Dazhuang Haotian Temple covers an area of about 800 ping (approximately 2,645 square meters) and features a solemn and majestic exterior, as well as elegant and ancient design. Inside, it houses many calligraphy works by modern celebrities and cultured individuals carved on stone walls. The current architecture of Haotian Temple largely preserves the traditional structure of "lower stone and upper wood," with decorative artistic techniques mainly using carving, masonry, modeling, and painting. The existing dragon columns, stone lions, and dragon-tiger pig in the Sanchuan Hall not only have beautiful materials but also excellent craftsmanship. Due to its long history and distinctive architecture, it has been the filming location for well-known movies in recent years, such as "The Performance" and the geographical magazine series "Stories in Taiwan." Haotian Temple holds large-scale events during important festivals every year, such as the Spring Festival, Farmers' Day, Ghost Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival, inviting the public to join in the festivities.
