Dazhuang Haotian Temple Introduction
Dazhuang Haotian Temple covers an area of approximately 800 ping, with a solemn and majestic appearance, showcasing an elegant and ancient style. Inside, it contains many calligraphy works of modern celebrities or literary figures carved onto stone walls. The current structure of Haotian Temple largely preserves the traditional "lower stone and upper wood" construction. The decorative art techniques used in the building mainly employ carving, masonry, modeling, and painting. The existing dragon columns, stone lions, and dragon-tiger boar in the San Chuan Hall are not only beautifully sourced but also finely crafted. Due to its long history and distinctive architecture, recent well-known films such as "The War for the Life of the Dead" and a series of geographic magazine programs titled "Stories in Taiwan" have filmed scenes here. Haotian Temple hosts large events during important festivals each year, such as the Spring Festival, Farmers' Day, Ghost Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival, welcoming the public to participate in the celebrations.
