The "Lin Mao Yang Family Residence," a historical building in Taichung City, features a fusion of Minnan, Japanese wooden, and Western architectural styles. It was built in the 1920s after the marriage of the Lin and Lai families, serving as a foundation for their descendants. The residence retains the unique architectural style of the Japanese colonial period and has undergone the lively transformation of the military dependents' village era, earning the name "Yi De Western Building." It was opened to the public after restoration in 2015.
