Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area Administration Introduction
Located in Beimen District, the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal Scenic Area Administration was originally the office of the Beimen Salt Field, a historic Japanese-style building. The square in front is adorned with tiles from early tiled salt fields, while behind it stands the Beimen Branch Office, built in 1923 and rich in history. In front, there is the local delicacy restaurant, Beimen Islet Restaurant. To the west, the landmark Banyan Tree connects the park, known as "Dreamer Land." A white piano is displayed in front, creating a dreamy scene reminiscent of a music video. In line with the white Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan decor, the surroundings, including the Beimen Islet Church, are also mostly white, echoing the white salt industry and white milkfish of Beimen. The square in front of the administration has now become an important area for art installations, and when lit at night, it exudes great romance, attracting many photography enthusiasts for shooting. The Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal Scenic Area Administration can be considered the most beautiful government office in northern Tainan and a must-visit spot when traveling to Beimen.
