Crystal Cathedral Introduction
The Crystal Church is located at the intersection of the North Salt Fields and the Zhongzhou Salt Fields. The west coast is open and flat, historically characterized by salt fields where the prominent features are salt piles. The design of the Crystal Church is inspired by the large salt piles connected to smaller ones. With white salt as its main color and the idea of crystalline salt's transparency as its concept, combined with the church's intention to comfort countless patients suffering from blackfoot disease, it is named the Crystal Church. Completed in 2014, the Crystal Church has become a popular spot for wedding photography, offering a wide and unobstructed view. To the south, one can overlook the Xishan and "Dog Mist" areas, as well as the brine tower, and towards the west leads to the Jingzicuo Salt Field. The lighting times for the Crystal Church at night are as follows: Summer (March 1 to September 30): Holidays from 18:00 to 18:30; Winter (October 1 to February 28/29): Holidays from 17:30 to 18:00.
