Crystal Cathedral Introduction
The Crystal Church is located at the boundary of the North Coast Saltern and the Zhongzhou Saltern. The western coastal area is flat and open, with salt fields being the prominent landscape in the past, characterized by large salt piles that rise above the ground. The Crystal Church draws its design inspiration from the connection between large and small salt piles, using white as its main color to reflect the shimmering clarity of crystallized salt. It embodies the church's spirit that has once comforted countless patients suffering from black foot disease, hence its name. The Crystal Church was completed in 2014 and has become a popular spot for wedding photography. Its expansive view offers a distant look at the Xishan Mountains, "Dog Mist" and the brine tower to the south, and it leads westward to the Jingzicun Salt Field. The lighting schedule for the Crystal Church is as follows: Summer (March 1 to September 30): Holidays from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM; Winter (October 1 to February 28/29): Holidays from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
