Beimen Jiuyan Yin (Chen's Gui Ji Cemetery) Introduction
Located next to Provincial Highway 17 at about 143 kilometers in Beimen District, there is a small hill that is said to be the burial place of Zheng Chenggong's aunt, Zheng Xi. Local residents refer to this cemetery as "Laozu Ma Tomb." It is said that the Qing government aimed to eradicate the Zheng family in Taiwan by excavating the graves of Zheng descendants. To prevent the Qing government from digging up their graves, the Zheng descendants built nine similar tombs near this small hill on "Beimen Islet" to create confusion. In addition, the geographical location in the past was near the calm waters of the harbor, with mist enveloping the entire hill, leading to the saying of "Jiuyan Yin."
