Remains of the East Small Gate Section of Tainan City Wall Introduction
The Fort of Taiwan was built in the third year of the Yongzheng Emperor (1735 AD) with the construction of the Muzha City, where the section of the Little East Gate extended from the East facing Longshan Temple, setting up the Great East Gate, and the Muzha extended north from the Great East Gate, continuing to the Youying Hall, then turning northeast to the Little East Gate, and moving straight north close to the City Guard Camp to form the Great North Gate. Therefore, the section of the Little East Gate is located between the Great East Gate and the Great North Gate.
