The Astronomical Education Center, located within Ganghe Elementary School in the Xiaogang District, was established in 2000 and is highly anticipated by the local citizens and astronomy enthusiasts. This small yet beautiful educational facility primarily focuses on astronomy education and promotes it through various means. It features multimedia exhibition halls, astronomical observation stations, and various equipment and models. Among its exhibits is a 300mm reflecting telescope valued at over six million, guiding visitors into the realm of astronomical science. Through viewing, observation, and hands-on practice, visitors can explore the mysteries of the universe. The Astronomical Education Center regularly hosts children's astronomy camps and special celestial observation sessions each year, offering lively educational programs that enhance children's interest and understanding of astronomy. Additionally, the center provides group rentals for the "Astronomical Mobile Classroom," aiming to promote and root deeper astronomy education and guide more people into the vast realm of astronomical science.
