Taiwan Screw Museum Introduction
Gangshan is a major hub of the screw industry in Taiwan, with over 30% of the nation's screw production concentrated here, accounting for more than 16% of global output. Therefore, Gangshan is renowned as the "Kingdom of Screws." The Screw Museum was established to preserve, document, and collect the history and production processes of the screw industry. The three-story building, with a floor area of 600 square meters, showcases the screw production process, operational steps, and various machinery used in production on the first floor. Visitors can understand the complex and labor-intensive manufacturing process of small screws in interactive exhibits. The second and third floors feature displays of representative products from various screw manufacturers, allowing domestic and international clients to overview different products. Despite their small size, screws play a crucial role in the industrial sector, connecting a vast economy with thousands of specifications across traditional foundational industries, aerospace, and biotechnology. The Screw Museum serves as a base for research, exhibition, and education in Taiwan's screw industry, carrying significant educational and promotional value.
