Taiwan Screw Museum Introduction
Gangshan is a stronghold of Taiwan's screw industry, with more than 30% of the nation's screw production concentrated here, accounting for over 16% of global output. Hence, Gangshan is known as the "Screw Kingdom." The Screw Museum was established to preserve, document, and showcase the history and production process of the screw industry. The three-story building, with a floor area of 600 square meters, features exhibits on the screw production process, operational steps, and various machinery used in the manufacturing process on the first floor, where visitors can understand the complex and labor-intensive production of small screws in an interactive exhibition area. The second and third floors display representative products from various screw manufacturers, allowing domestic and international customers to view a variety of products. Although small, screws play a significant role in industry, linking a vast economy through thousands of specifications for screws ranging from traditional foundational industries to aerospace and biomedical fields. The Screw Museum serves as a base for R&D, exhibition, and education in Taiwan's screw industry, holding great educational and promotional significance.
