Taiwan Screw Museum Introduction
Gangshan is a major hub for the screw manufacturing industry in Taiwan, with over 30% of the nation's screw industry concentrated here, accounting for more than 16% of global production, earning it the nickname "Screw Kingdom." The Screw Museum was established to preserve, document, and collect the history and processes of the screw industry. In the three-story building with a total area of 600 ping, the first floor showcases the screw production process, operational steps, and various machines used in the manufacturing process. Visitors can learn about the complex and labor-intensive production of small screws in interactive exhibition areas. The second and third floors feature displays of representative products from various screw manufacturers, allowing domestic and international clients to overview the products available. Although screws are small, they play a significant role in industry, connecting a vast economy from traditional basic industries to aerospace and biotechnology, with tens of thousands of specifications of screws. The Screw Museum serves as a base for research, development, exhibition, and education in Taiwan's screw industry, making it highly significant for both educational and promotional purposes.
