Taiwan Screw Museum Introduction
Gangshan is a major hub of the screw industry in Taiwan, with over 30% of the nation’s screw production concentrated here, accounting for over 16% of global output. Therefore, Gangshan is known as the "Kingdom of Screws." The Screw Museum was established to preserve, document, and collect the history and manufacturing processes of the screw industry. The three-story building, covering an area of 600 ping, features an exhibition on the screw production process, operational steps, and various machinery used in manufacturing on the first floor. Visitors can explore the complex and labor-intensive process of screw production in an interactive exhibition area. The second and third floors showcase representative products from various screw manufacturers, allowing domestic and international customers to get an overview of the products available. Despite their small size, screws play a crucial role in industry, linking a massive economy with thousands of specifications from traditional basic industries to aerospace and biotechnology. The Screw Museum serves as a base for research, demonstration, and education in Taiwan's screw industry, making it highly significant for educational and promotional purposes.
