Taiwan Screw Museum Introduction
Gangshan is a major hub for the screw industry in Taiwan, with over 30% of the national screw production concentrated here, accounting for more than 16% of global output. As a result, Gangshan is renowned as the "Screw Kingdom." The Screw Museum was established to preserve, document, and collect the history and development process of the screw industry. In a three-story building with a total area of 600 ping (about 1989 square meters), the first floor showcases the screw production process, operational steps, and various machinery used during manufacturing. Visitors can learn about the complex and labor-intensive process of producing these small but vital components through interactive exhibits. The second and third floors display representative products from various screw manufacturers, allowing domestic and international clients to review a wide range of products. Despite their small size, screws play an important role in industry, linking thousands of specifications from traditional foundational industries to aerospace and biomedical fields, thereby forming a massive economic entity. The Screw Museum serves as a base for research and development, exhibition, and education in Taiwan's screw industry, holding significant educational and promotional value.
