Taiwan Screw Museum Introduction
Gangshan is a major hub for Taiwan's screw industry, with more than 30% of the national screw production concentrated here, accounting for over 16% of global output. Hence, Gangshan is known as the "Screw Kingdom." The Screw Museum was established to preserve, document, and collect the history and development process of the screw industry. The three-story building, with a total area of 600 ping, features an exhibit on the screw production process, the operational steps, and various tools used in the manufacturing process on the first floor, allowing visitors to understand the complex and labor-intensive production of small screws in an interactive area. The second and third floors display representative products from various screw manufacturers, providing domestic and international customers with an overview of the different offerings. Although small, screws play an important role in industry, connecting the vast economy with tens of thousands of specifications spanning from traditional basic industries to aerospace and biomedical fields. The Screw Museum serves as a base for research and development, exhibitions, and education on Taiwan's screw industry, holding significant educational and promotional value.
