Taiwan Screw Museum Introduction
Gangshan is a major hub for the screw industry in Taiwan, with over 30% of the country's screw production concentrated here, accounting for more than 16% of global output. This has earned Gangshan the title of "Screw Kingdom." The Screw Museum was established to preserve, document, and collect the history and production process of the screw industry. Housed in a three-story building with an area of 600 ping, the first floor showcases the screw manufacturing process, operational steps, and various tools used in production, allowing the public to understand the complex and labor-intensive process of making these small items. The second and third floors display representative products from different screw manufacturers, enabling domestic and international clients to get an overview of various offerings. Although screws are small, they play a crucial role in industry, linking traditional foundational industries to aerospace and biotechnology, with thousands of specifications contributing to a vast economy. The Screw Museum serves as a base for research and development, exhibition, and education within Taiwan's screw industry, holding significant educational and promotional value.
