Baoling Huashang Hot Spring Park Introduction

The hot spring area along the Laonong River extends to as many as eight locations, among which the more famous ones are located in the Liuqiu District of Kaohsiung: the Bulao Hot Spring and the Baolai Hot Spring. Baolai Flower View Hot Spring Park, located in the Baolai Hot Spring area, blooms with flowers year-round. Visitors can soak in the hot springs while enjoying the flowers; the park has also planned luxury camping tents for an immersive experience in nature that nourishes the body and soul. The Baolai Hot Spring is classified as a bicarbonate spring, with a water temperature reaching 52°C and a pH value of approximately 7.2. It is a high-quality bicarbonate spring, characterized by its colorless and transparent water and gentle mineral quality, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth after bathing, thus being referred to as "beauty bath" or "skin-enhancing bath." In 2009, the Morakot disaster damaged the hot spring source. With the active promotion of the Kaohsiung City Government, a successful drilling of a hot spring well was conducted behind Baolai Junior High School in January 2017, and the obtained hot spring water was directed into the Baolai Flower View Hot Spring Park. The Kaohsiung City Government funded the renovation of the park, which reopened in 2020, upgrading the hot spring facilities, increasing changing and washing rooms, SPA pools, and other new amenities for greater convenience for visitors, in addition to having night hot spring pools and being open year-round. Baolai Flower View Hot Spring Park covers an area of 5.4 hectares, surrounded by mountains, and is home to 1,370 flowering trees, including Jacaranda, Kawazu Cherry, Blue Jacaranda, and Flame Trees, creating vibrant floral scenery year-round. Each season features its own blooming highlights, with the Jacaranda blossoms in March and April attracting many visitors, allowing them to enjoy soaking their hands and feet amid the colorful flowers. The area around the hot springs is planned as a camping zone, equipped with luxury tents, DIY tent sites, and RV facilities, allowing visitors to camp under the flowering trees and awaken to the sounds of chirping insects and birds. The park also offers urban adventure exploration facilities, with various high-altitude experiences for visitors to challenge themselves and seek adventures. Welcome to breathe in the forest air and create unique travel memories of soaking in hot springs, camping, and adventuring in nature.
