Meilun Mountain Trail Introduction
The entrance to the Meilun Mountain Trail is located next to the Ciyou Temple on the street in the Bu Lao Hot Springs area of Liouguei District. The trail is approximately 5.7 kilometers long, predominantly following a forestry road for the first 4 kilometers. Along the way, visitors will pass by two viewing platforms, a tea factory, tea fields, and a plum garden. At the 1-kilometer and 2-kilometer marks, there are viewing platforms for visitors to rest and enjoy the cool breeze while overlooking the Bu Lao Hot Springs area surrounded by green mountains, the Laonong River Valley, and the surrounding peaks. During the blooming season, the trail features beautiful views of tea gardens and plum blossoms, with the delightful scents of tea and plums, making it a perfect spot for a weekend hike to connect with nature, as well as to soak in the hot springs and relieve fatigue and stress. The complete round trip on the trail takes about 4.5 hours; it is advised that those with lower stamina should turn back after reaching the tea garden.
