Meilun Mountain Trail Introduction
The entrance to the Meilun Mountain Trail is located next to the Ciyou Temple on the street in the Buliao Hot Spring area in Liugui District. The trail is approximately 5.7 kilometers long, with the first 4 kilometers primarily following a forest road. Along the way, it passes two viewing platforms, a tea factory, tea gardens, and a plum garden. There are viewing platforms at the 1-kilometer and 2-kilometer marks for visitors to rest and enjoy the breeze while overlooking the Buliao Hot Spring area, Laonong River Valley, and surrounding mountains. During the peak blooming season, the trail offers beautiful views of tea gardens and plum blossoms, with the fragrant scents of tea and plums, making it a distinctive destination. It is suitable for hiking and enjoying nature on weekends, as well as soaking in hot springs to relieve fatigue and stress. The complete round trip takes about 4.5 hours; it is advised that those with less stamina turn back after reaching the tea garden.
