During holidays, tourist activities are frequent. To meet the needs of tourists for a resting place during their journey, the "Baolai Old Tree Plaza Visitor Center" was constructed at the location of Baolai Old Tree Plaza, offering suitable travel information, rest areas, and quality dining environments. Baolai Old Tree Plaza currently features precious old tree groups (such as Eucalyptus and old camphor trees), which are prominently visible upon entering the Baolai area from Liugui. The Old Tree Plaza is situated at a relatively elevated terrain, allowing for a view of the Laonong River Valley and the surrounding rolling hills. With beautiful scenery, it attracts tourists to park and enjoy the picturesque river valley landscape. The Old Tree Plaza also serves as a key venue for events during the annual plum blossom hot spring season. The first phase of this center's construction (building work) commenced on October 13, 2009, and was completed on February 6, 2010. The first floor mainly serves as a tourist service center, including a tourist inquiry service desk, a multifunctional audio-visual room, interactive media for travel guidance, an exhibition area, and a wooden resting platform. The second floor consists of a small conference room, seminar room, and offices.
