Baolai Visitor Center (Old Tree Square) Introduction

During holidays, there is a high volume of tourist activities. To meet the needs for resting and staying during travelers' journeys, the "Baolai Old Tree Plaza Visitor Center" was constructed at the location of Baolai Old Tree Plaza, offering appropriate travel information, rest areas, and high-quality dining environments. The Baolai Old Tree Plaza features valuable old trees (eucalyptus and old camphor trees), which can be clearly seen from the journey into Baolai area from Liuqiu. The old tree plaza is situated at a relatively high elevation compared to the surrounding terrain, allowing visitors to overlook the Laonong River Valley and the surrounding hills with beautiful scenery. On regular days, tourists also stop by to enjoy the picturesque valley landscape. During the plum blossom hot spring season, the old tree plaza is a main venue for hosting events and exhibitions. The first phase of the center's construction (building works) commenced on October 13, 2009, and was completed on February 6, 2010. The first floor serves primarily as a visitor service center, including a tourist information desk, a multifunctional audiovisual room, interactive tourism inquiry media, an exhibition area, and a wooden resting platform. The second floor consists of small meeting rooms and offices.
