Tourist activities are frequent during holidays. To cater to the needs of travelers for rest and information during their journey, the "Baolai Old Tree Plaza Visitor Center" has been constructed at Baolai Old Tree Plaza. The plaza currently features a precious collection of old trees (eucalyptus and old camphor trees), which are prominently visible as travelers approach the Baolai area from Liuqiu. The Old Tree Plaza is situated in a relatively elevated position compared to the surrounding terrain, offering views of the Laonong River Valley and the encircling hills, making it a beautiful scenic spot. On weekdays, tourists also stop by to appreciate the stunning river valley scenery. During the annual Plum Blossom Hot Spring Festival, the Old Tree Plaza serves as a primary venue for various performances and events. The first phase of this center's construction (building works) began on October 13, 2009, and was completed on February 6, 2010. The first floor serves mainly as a visitor service center, including a tourist information service desk, a multi-functional audiovisual room, an interactive travel guide inquiry media area, a display area, and a wooden rest platform. The second floor consists of a small conference room and office space.
