Nü Bookstore Introduction
The first feminist specialized bookstore in the Chinese-speaking region, born from the collaboration of women's movement workers and those concerned with gender equality issues. The store collects the most comprehensive selection of books and audiovisual products on women and gender issues in the Chinese-speaking region, aiming to provide a comfortable space to see women's writing, hear women's voices, and share women's experiences. The bookstore often hosts discussions, exhibitions, and other events, and in 1996, it established the Women's Book Publishing Culture, becoming an indispensable space for raising awareness on gender issues in Taiwan.
