Letterpress Bookstore Introduction
The first feminist professional bookstore in the Chinese-speaking region, born from the collaboration of women activists and those concerned with gender equality issues. The store collects the most comprehensive selection of books and audiovisual products on women's and gender issues in the Chinese-speaking region, aiming to provide a comfortable space to see women’s writings, hear women's voices, and exchange women's experiences. The bookstore frequently hosts discussions, exhibitions, and other events. In 1996, it also established Women's Book Publishing Culture, making it an indispensable space for voicing gender issues in Taiwan.
