Woman Bookstore Introduction
The first feminist bookstore in the Chinese-speaking region, born out of the collaboration of women’s movement workers and individuals concerned about gender equality issues. The store collects the most comprehensive collection of books and audiovisual products on women and gender issues in the Chinese-speaking area, aiming to provide a comfortable space to acknowledge women’s writing, listen to women’s voices, and exchange women’s experiences. The bookstore frequently hosts discussions, exhibitions, and other activities, and established the Women's Books Publishing Culture in 1996, making it an indispensable platform for gender issues in Taiwan.
