Nü Books Introduction
The first feminist professional bookstore in the Chinese-speaking region, co-founded by a group of women's movement workers and individuals concerned about gender equality issues. The store collects the most comprehensive range of books and audiovisual products on women's and gender issues in the Chinese-speaking area, aiming to provide a comfortable space to see women's writing, listen to women's voices, and share women's experiences. The bookstore frequently holds discussions, exhibitions, and other events, and in 1996 established the Women's Book Publishing Culture, making it an essential space for expressing gender issues in Taiwan.
