National Taiwan University Introduction
The campus is filled with monuments and historical buildings, and the overall layout follows a clear east-west axis design. King coconut trees are planted on both sides of Coconut Palm Avenue, alongside azaleas, while camphor trees and dragon cypress line the areas between the school buildings. Walking along Coconut Palm Avenue, the greenery arches overhead as the sun rises, creating a sense of progressing toward a grand avenue, making it a unique sunrise spot in the city. Near the College of Agriculture, there are many gardens with aquatic plants, vegetables, fruits, and herbs. The experimental farm also features interesting ecological restoration observations, while the alleys around the campus are surrounded by mainstream and independent bookstores, giving the area around National Taiwan University a rich cultural atmosphere, complemented by a coffee culture that pervades the bookstores.
