Feilong Pond Trail Introduction

Located in Xinpuh Township, there is a winding ancient trail that resembles a flying dragon, known as the Lianhua Mountain Ancient Trail, also called the Flying Dragon Hiking Trail. This trail is a great spot for outdoor recreation in the Xinpuh area. One of the entrances to the ancient trail is next to San Sheng Temple, and the path is well marked. Along the trail, visitors can enjoy towering ancient trees, the sounds of insects and birds, and many sacred trees and twin trees that frequently come into view. Among them is a giant tree formed by ten co-existing trees, named the "Lianhua Sacred Tree" by the locals. It takes five people to embrace this massive tree, and its roots resemble a lotus pedestal, which is how it got its name.
