Saint Therese Church Introduction
The St. Therese of Lisieux Church is the main pilgrimage site of the Catholic Hsinchu Diocese, also known as the Hsincheng Church. St. Therese is a Spanish Catholic saint, admired by Catholics around the world, with many churches named after her. Looking up, the large statue of St. Therese outside the church reveals the church's spirit of mercy and salvation! Ascending to the second floor sanctuary of the church, the windows are all stained glass, with the afternoon sunlight streaming in, causing all the glass to radiate different golden hues. Strolling along the small pathway outside the church, you can see the solemn and compassionate statue of the Virgin Mary. As you approach, you will find Jesus, who suffered for humanity, nailed to the cross, standing between heaven and earth. Following the path, the stone slabs depict the 15 Stations of the Cross, vividly etched in memory.
