Nanguo District Magistrate's Office Introduction

Since 1920, the area around Nanguo Elementary School in Changhua City, Changhua County, known as "Nanguo," was part of Taichung Prefecture, Changhua County, with its administrative head titled "County Magistrate." Sixteen dormitory buildings were constructed here, which are still used as staff dormitories for the county government today. As time passed, the dormitory complex gradually fell into disuse, prompting students and teachers at Nanguo Elementary School to initiate preservation and revitalization activities. In 2017, they officially took over the operations of buildings No. 7 and No. 8. Here, the children aim to guide everyone in exploring various possibilities of historical buildings and share their own stories related to this place.
