Nanguo County Magistrate's Office Introduction

Since 1920, the area around Nanguo Elementary School in Changhua City, Changhua County, known as "Nanguo," was part of Taichung Prefecture, Changhua District, with its administrative head known as "District Chief." Sixteen dormitories were built in this area, which are still used as dormitories for county government employees today. Over time, the dormitory complex gradually became abandoned and idle. The students and teachers of Nanguo Elementary School initiated activities to protect and revitalize the area, and in 2017, they officially took over the operations of Building 7 and Building 8. Here, the children aim to lead everyone in exploring the various possibilities of historical buildings and share their stories with this place.
