Nanguo Junshou Official Residence Introduction
Since 1920, the area around Nanguo Elementary School in Changhua City, Changhua County, known as "Nanguo," was part of Taichung Prefecture Changhua County, and the head of its administration was referred to as "county magistrate." Sixteen dormitories were built here, which are still used as dormitories for county government employees today. As time passed, the dormitory complex gradually fell into disrepair and became abandoned. The teachers and students of Nanguo Elementary School initiated activities to protect and revitalize the area, and in 2017, they officially took over the operation of buildings 7 and 8. Here, the children aspire to lead everyone in exploring the various possibilities of historical buildings and sharing their own stories connected to this place.
