Nanguo County Magistrate's Office Introduction
Since 1920, the area around Nanguo Elementary School in Changhua City, Changhua County, referred to as "Nanguo," belonged to Changhua District in Taichung Prefecture. The administrative head was called "County Magistrate," and sixteen dormitories were built at this location, which are still used as dormitories for county government employees today. As time went by, the dormitory complex fell into disrepair and was neglected. The teachers and students of Nanguo Elementary School initiated activities to safeguard and revitalize the area, and in 2017, they officially took over the operations of buildings No. 7 and No. 8. Here, the children hope to lead everyone in exploring the various possibilities of historical buildings and share their stories related to this place.
