Xiangshan Natural Trail Introduction
The trail, which once served as an ancient pathway connecting the Xiangshan Village of Tianzhong Township and the Sanlun Village of Mingjian Township, was used by local residents for transporting and trading daily supplies. It has now become a hiking trail linking Tianzhong Township in Changhua County and Mingjian Township in Nantou County, with a total length of approximately 0.7 kilometers. The initial section of the wooden boardwalk is covered with fallen leaves, making it slippery when walking. Additionally, the boardwalk and stairs are damaged and no longer functional, requiring hikers to ascend along an existing rope on the mountainside. The stairs after the steep slope are still usable and feature a pavilion and informational signboards. Due to an average incline of 30% and the need to pull oneself up with a rope, this trail is suitable for individuals with hiking experience. Trail length: 0.7 kilometers. Walking time: 0.7 hours. Facilities: Safety notice boards, trail damage, rope, pavilion, seating, informational signboards.
