Xiangshan Nature Trail Introduction
The former ancient trail connecting Xiangshan Village in Tianzhong Township and Sanlun Village in Mingjian Township was used by local residents for transporting and trading daily supplies. It has now become a hiking trail linking Tianzhong Township in Changhua County with Mingjian Township in Nantou County, with a total length of approximately 0.7 kilometers. The front section of the wooden boardwalk is covered with fallen leaves, making it slippery to walk on. The boardwalk and stairs have deteriorated and are no longer functional, requiring hikers to rely on existing ropes to climb along the mountain wall. The stairs after the steep slope are still usable and have a pavilion and information signs. Due to an average incline of 30% and the need to pull on ropes while climbing, it is recommended for individuals with hiking experience. Trail length: 0.7 kilometers. Walking time: 0.7 hours. Facilities include safety signs, trail damage notices, ropes, a pavilion, benches, and information signs.
