Ershui Traditional Noodles Introduction
Away from the neighborhood of Ershui, you come to the famous Dongzuo stone inkstone. After walking 100 meters north and turning into an alley, you will unexpectedly find a noodle stall set up in a quiet residential area. Even more surprising is that the noodle shop is bustling with customers. The owner, OU Lian-Zhao, used to carry his noodles around to sell. The unique traditional flavor is a favorite among the people of Ershui. Although the shop has moved away from the commercial area, customers still come in droves for the aroma. He says that the braised meat sauce is his special recipe, and the noodles are chewy but not overcooked. A bowl costs only 20 NTD, and not only do local customers love it, but it also frequently attracts tourists on weekends.
