Ershui Traditional Noodles Introduction
Away from the streets of Ershui, we come to the famous Dongzuo Stone Inkstone. Walking 100 meters north and turning into an alley, we come across a noodle stall tucked away in a quiet residential area. What’s even more surprising is that the noodle shop is bustling with customers. The owner, Ou Lian Zhao, used to sell noodles from a carrying pole in the past, and her unique traditional flavor has become a favorite among the locals of Ershui. Later, even after moving away from the commercial district, customers still came flocking to her shop because of the enticing aroma. She claims that the braised pork is her secret recipe, and the noodles are Q (al dente) and not mushy. A bowl is only 20 NTD, which not only pleases the local customers but also often attracts tourists from outside on weekends.
