Kengnei Keng Forest Trail Introduction
Originally a pilgrimage path for local residents to Shoutian Temple at Songbaling, it has now become a forest trail connecting Shoutian Temple in Ershuei Township, Changhua County, with a total length of approximately 1.9 km. The trail features steep steps, while the adjacent industrial road is equipped with benches and pavilions for close-up views of the scenic valley of Kengnei Keng Stream, and it showcases ecological demonstration projects of wild streams. Due to low human interference, it is easy to observe the flora and fauna, and occasional sightings of Formosan macaques can be experienced. On the other hand, a 2-minute walk from the end of the trail will lead to Shoutian Temple, surrounded by a street of tea shops. Both ends of the trail, Shoude Temple and Shoutian Temple, provide drinking water and public restrooms, making it very suitable for public leisure walks. ▌Trail Length: 0.32 kilometers. ▌Walking Time: 0.2 hours ▌Facilities: Parking lot (for motorcycles and small cars), signboards, rest pavilions, ecological demonstration area, benches, observation platform, pavilions.
