Kengnei Keng Forest Trail Introduction
Originally, it was an ancient path for local residents to visit the Shoutian Temple at Songbailing. It has now become a forest trail connecting the Shoutian Temple in Ershui Township, Changhua County, with a total length of approximately 1.9 kilometers when including the access roads. The entire trail consists of steep steps, and there are benches and pavilions along the access roads for close-up views of the scenic valley of Kengnei Keng Creek. Visitors can also observe the ecological demonstration projects of wild streams, and due to minimal human disturbance, it is easy to spot various plant and animal species, including occasional sightings of Formosan macaques. On the other hand, a 2-minute walk from the end of the trail leads to the Shoutian Temple, where a street of tea shops is located.
