Yunlong Waterfall Introduction
Yunlong Waterfall is located at the entrance of the Batongguan Ancient Trail and is often the focus of photographers among mountain enthusiasts. It is also the tallest and most abundant waterfall in Taiwan. From the bottom, looking up at the waterfall, one can truly feel its magnificent power. It is the most spectacular waterfall along the Batongguan Ancient Trail, characterized as a typical hanging valley waterfall with abundant water flow that persists year-round. The waterfall is divided into three tiers, with a total drop of over 100 meters. The water cascades down the nearly vertical valley wall with tremendous force, presenting a curtain of white water, hence it is also known as "Qingshan Bailing." The round trip distance from Dongpu to Yunlong Waterfall is about 4 kilometers, with the trail hidden among the mountain slopes on the northern side of the Chen Youlan Creek. The scenery along the route is stunning and pleasant, making it one of the popular hiking trails.
