Yunlong Waterfall Introduction
Yunlong Waterfall is located at the entrance of the Batong Ancient Trail, and it is often a focal point for photographers. This is the tallest and most abundant waterfall in Taiwan. From below, one can feel the magnificent momentum of the waterfall. It is the most spectacular waterfall along the Batong Ancient Trail, a typical hanging valley waterfall, with ample water flow that never runs dry throughout the year. The waterfall can be divided into three tiers, with a total drop of over 100 meters. The rapidly flowing water cascades down the nearly vertical cliff, resembling a white curtain, which is why it is also referred to as "Green Mountain White Ribbon." The round trip distance from Dongpu to Yunlong Waterfall is about 4 kilometers. The route is hidden at the north-facing hillside of the Chen Youlan Creek, with beautiful scenery along the way, making it a popular hiking trail.
