Yunlong Waterfall Introduction
Yunlong Waterfall is located at the entrance of Batongguan Trail and is often the focus of photographers and hikers. It is the tallest and most abundant waterfall in Taiwan. Looking up from the bottom, one can truly feel its magnificent force. This waterfall is the most spectacular on the Batongguan Ancient Trail and is a typical hanging valley waterfall, with a plentiful water flow that never runs dry throughout the year. The waterfall is divided into three tiers, with a total drop exceeding 100 meters. The water rushes down the nearly vertical valley walls with immense power, resembling a curtain of white, which is why it is also referred to as "Qingshan Bailian" (Green Mountain White Curtain). The round trip distance from Dongpu to Yunlong Waterfall is approximately 4 kilometers, with the trail hidden along the hillside of the Chen Youlan Creek to the north.
