In Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, the best viewing spots are the observation deck next to the Alishan Museum, Alishan Hotel, Alishan Railway Station, Zhaoping Park, Ogasawara Mountain Observation Deck, and near the entrance transfer station. Locations such as Xiding on Alishan Highway, Dingshizhuo, and around 89.5K towards Zizhung are also worth visiting.
