In the Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, the best viewing spots are the viewing platform next to the Alishan Museum, Alishan Hotel, Alishan Railway Station, Zhaoping Park, Mount Ogasawara Viewing Platform, and near the entrance transfer station. It is also worth visiting locations along Alishan Highway, such as Xiding, Ding Shizhao, and around 89.5K towards Zizhong.
