Caopingtou Yushan Tea Garden Introduction
Caopingtou Tea Area is located in Tongfu Village, Xinyi Township, at an altitude of approximately 1,300 meters, alongside Provincial Highway 21 (New Central Cross-Island Highway). Covering an area of 48 hectares, it was guided by government agencies to become a tourist tea plantation in 1993. The climate here is cool and often shrouded in mist, providing an excellent growing environment for tea trees. Situated at the foothills of Yushan (Jade Mountain) in a high-altitude area, the "Yushan Oolong" produced here is distinct from other tea regions, characterized by its aroma, richness, and sweetness, making it popular among consumers. During the Spring Festival each year, the Caopingtou Leisure Farm features blooming pink, light pink, and white cherry blossoms, with over 3,000 cherry trees lining the paths, creating a scene reminiscent of pink rain amidst mist. Visitors can leisurely stroll through the tea plantation, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the tea country, inhale the rich fragrance of tea, and experience the laid-back rural lifestyle.
