Caopingtou Yushan Tea Garden Introduction
Caoping Head Tea Area is located in Tongfu Village, Xinyi Township, at an altitude of approximately 1,300 meters. It is situated alongside the New Central Cross-Island Highway (Tai 21 Line) and covers an area of 48 hectares. In 1993, it was established as a tourist tea garden with the assistance of government agencies. The climate here is cool, often shrouded in clouds, providing a favorable growing environment for tea trees. Located in the high-altitude area at the foot of Yushan (Jade Mountain), the "Yushan Oolong" produced here is distinct from other tea regions, known for its aromatic, rich, and sweet flavor, which is greatly appreciated by consumers. Every year during the Lunar New Year, pink, light pink, and white cherry blossoms bloom in the Caoping Head leisure farm, with over 3,000 cherry trees lining the path, creating a scene resembling pink flowers in mist. Visitors can easily stroll through the tea garden, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the tea countryside, and experience the leisurely life of rural farming.
