Caopingtou Yu Shan Tea Garden Introduction
Caopingtou Tea Area is located in Tongfu Village, Xinyi Township, at an elevation of about 1,300 meters. It is situated next to the Provincial Highway 21, in an expansive tea garden covering 48 hectares. In 1993, it was guided by government agencies to become a tourist tea garden. The climate here is cool, often shrouded in clouds and mist, providing an excellent growing environment for tea trees. Located at a high altitude on the foothills of Yushan Mountain, the "Yushan Oolong" cultivated here is distinct from other tea regions, known for its fragrant, mellow, and sweet characteristics, making it very popular among consumers. During the Chinese New Year period each year, the Caopingtou Leisure Agricultural Area features blooming pink, light pink, and white cherry blossoms, with over 3,000 cherry trees along the road creating a stunning scene of pink petals like smoke and mist. Visitors can easily stroll through the tea garden, enjoying the beautiful scenery of the tea region along with the rich aroma of tea, experiencing the leisurely lifestyle of the countryside.
